Atrium Lofts

The history the Atrium Lofts building spans across 100 years of transformation. From its association with the paper industry to its historical significance as a children’s shoes manufacturing plant, it has been an integral building to the City of Wausau since its inception.

The rehabilitated building now holds the name of Atrium Lofts. The unique features of the building, including the end to end skylights, the steel trusses, and the exposed wood lining the ceiling, have all been maintained, adding to the character of the building. Nestled among these features are 22 new, affordable apartments offering 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units. Residents have access to community room, spacious lobby, two conversation areas, an exercise room and computer room.
