Audubon Crossing

Audubon Crossing

This development was a collaboration between a for-profit developer (MetroPlains) and a non-profit service provider (Families Moving Forward). This group was brought together by the neighborhood’s need for re-development, a non-profit community-focused developer (Northeast CDC), and the Minneapolis task force for Central Avenue redevelopment.

Audubon Crossing consists of 30 new construction apartments over below grade parking. There are 7 one-bedroom apartments, 15 two-bedroom apartments, and 8 three-bedroom apartments. The workforce housing is supported by area businesses. The housing includes a range of rents and targeted income levels, including four apartments dedicated to housing homeless families.
